Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what personal data OWOXO handles on owoxo.xyz, why we use it, how long we keep it and the rights you have. We collect only what we need to run the service, and we never sell your data.
1. Who is responsible
OWOXO is responsible for the personal data described here. If you have a question about your data or want to exercise a right, you can reach us through our Contact page.
2. What data we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide the service:
- Account details you give us, such as your name, email address and the organisation you manage;
- Team information, such as the members you invite, the roles you assign and their access;
- Usage data that the service generates as you work, such as sign-in times and the actions taken on an account, so the space stays secure and reliable;
- Billing details when you subscribe to a paid plan, handled through our payment provider.
We do not ask for more than we need, and some details are optional. Where a field is optional, you are free to leave it empty.
3. Why we use your data
We use your data to:
- create and run your space, and let your team sign in securely;
- provide the features you asked for, such as managing users, roles and access;
- keep the service safe, prevent fraud and troubleshoot problems;
- handle billing and send the receipts and important service messages you need;
- improve the service based on how it is used.
We only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Legal basis
Depending on the case, we rely on: the performance of our agreement with you (to provide the service), our legitimate interest (to keep the service secure and improve it), your consent (for optional cookies and marketing) and our legal obligations (for example accounting).
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the service (for example secure hosting, email delivery and payment), and only to the extent they need it to work for us. These providers are bound to protect your data. We may also share data where the law requires it.
6. Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: secured connections, access controlled by role, and protections against fraudulent requests. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep your data safe and to react quickly if a problem arises.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Account and team data are kept while your account is active; when you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep certain records (for example billing) for longer.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent at any time where we relied on it. To exercise a right, reach us through our Contact page; we respond within the time the law allows. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to make the site work and, with your agreement, to measure and remember your preferences. You stay in control at any time. Full detail is in our Cookie policy.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the service or the law changes. When we make an important change, we update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know on the site. For any question about your data, please use our Contact page.
